It started with our parents’ wedding film 35 years ago, which became our inspiration. Now, we create timeless films meant to be felt for generations.

Who Are We

We’re Kathryn and Kristen—twin sisters (part of a set of triplets) with Lebanese-Swedish roots, raised on a deep appreciation for family, culture, and storytelling. We launched our Portland-based production company in 2019 doing commercial work, but our perspective shifted when we returned to our parents’ 1995 wedding film.

That film showed us how powerful a wedding day can be when it’s captured with intention and care—how something so personal can carry the weight of heritage, memory, and generations. It became clear to us that these moments aren’t just documented, they’re preserved as legacy.

The name Six Stone Films is inspired by Jesus’ first miracle at a wedding, when he turned water into wine using six stone jars. It was a quiet but powerful moment, set on a day of celebration, chosen as the setting for something extraordinary.

That story reminds us that wedding days carry more than emotion, they hold meaning, joy, and the possibility of something timeless. It’s a day worth honoring, preserving, and telling with care.
